went for an interview in the middle of the day and so kinda spoil any plans for the day....sigh....but it's ok...jus a casual relaxing day to slack and spend quality time together =)
dinner this yr was planned by me instead of him!!! and i chose to dine at esmirada at the orchard hotel...it serves mediterranean food and the restaurent has planned something unusual that we all werent prepared for!!!
Smashing of plates and glasses in the middle of dinner!!!!!!!!!???!???!?!??!!!
yeap....the restaurant was playing nice romantic music when suddenly it changed to some fast paced folk tune and then the waiters and waitresses passed us mini plates and everybody started throwing and smashing plates on the floor!!!!! some even went to the extent of smashing wine glasses and dinner plates!!!! apparently it's a greek tradition....why?? i dunno...but it's fun!!
pretty cool for a v-day dinner i feel. a unique experience....
i was pretty afraid at first...cos i was worried that the broken pieces will cut my leg or fall into my food!!!! it was candle light dinner and i cant really see what i'm eating!!!!??!?!?!?!?
but...all was well and it was great fun smashing plates and glasses!!! working there as a waiter shd be pretty cool cos dun have to worry that we have to pay for anything we break....kekeke....
presents this yr wasn't much of a headache actually....no flowers though, didnt wan them cos i do realise it's a waste of money to pay exorbitant prices jus cos it's v-day. i'd rather spend on a nice dinner instead.
he bought me a wallet that cost a whooping 600 bucks....and i bought him a ck tie, a pair of onitsuka shoes and a shirt.....still they dun match up....heee....thank you dear...will treat them with utmost care (^_^)
and the best part...yet the saddest part is travelling home on the bus...
i jus love travelling on the bus with a loved one...cos the journey is slow...get to spend time together and it's jus so relaxing!! and not to mention it's cheap.....lol....
oh well....v-day is jus an excuse to be pampered....but he's also pampered what...so guys, jus go all out and treat that special someone well, it's all worth it =)
